On a recent episode of The Morgan Stewart Show, Khloé Kardashian looked back on the initial days of building Dash, the first clothing boutique she opened with her sisters, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian. She said that it started with much more guesswork than glamour.

Besides, Khloé revealed how Kourtney handled the day-to-day work without much help while discussing how it tied to “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” in 2006.

Khloé Kardashian explained that her first boutique, Dash, with Kim and Kourtney, came about before the family agreed to film “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” When Kris Jenner first brought up the idea of doing a reality show, Khloé said she and her sisters pushed back, revealing, “At first, we were like, ‘We’re not doing this.'”

Additionally, Khloé shared how her mom changed their minds by making it about the store. She told the host, “And how my mom conned us into doing it was, she said, ‘Think of it as a commercial for the store,'” adding that Dash was “all we wanted to do.”

In the interview, Khloé described how hands-on the experience felt, especially for her and Kourtney, admitting, “We had no employees. It was just me and Kourt,” and adding, “We did everything: the cleaning, the taxes, the steaming of the clothes. We had not one employee. We didn’t know what the f— we were doing.”

Later, Kardashian recalled how they funded early buying for Dash through a credit card connected to their late father, Robert Kardashian. She said that her father’s credit card later rolled into Kourtney’s name, and “she had like a $50,000 limit. And we were like, ‘$50,000? This is insane.'”

The sisters knew nothing about “buying” or “location.” Khloé Kardashian said they wondered, “Is Calabasas good? We just lived there. And we’re like, ‘Let’s do this,'” and that is how their first boutique came to be.
