Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi have been privately spending time together amid dating rumors, a source told People.

The insider said they’ve been “getting to know each other the last couple months,” and the outlet pointed out they’ve known each other since 2022.

Both stars are publicly single, and Jenner explained earlier this year why she stopped actively dating when she turned 29.

Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi sparked dating rumors at Coachella, and the reality, a source told People yesterday, is that the two stars have been spending time together privately for weeks.

“They’ve been hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months,” the source explained, though the insider didn’t explicitly specify whether the connection was romantic.

However, a source told Entertainment Tonight that there is an “attraction” between them—and Jenner is interested.

“Kendall and Jacob have run in similar circles for years, but in the last couple months, they’ve developed an attraction and flirtation,” the insider said, adding, “It’s been fun for Kendall to have a new crush.”

The source said it’s been “easy” for the two stars to connect. “They get along because they’re both low-key and take their careers seriously.”⁠

People noted that Elordi and Jenner have known each other for years, with the actor attending her birthday party in 2022. (A photo of Jenner and Elordi hanging out in February 2022 also spread on social media at the time.)

They were also photographed in deep conversation at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party last month.

Both Jenner and Elordi are publicly single. While the Euphoria actor had an on-off relationship with Olivia Jade Giannulli for years, a source told Entertainment Tonight in February that their romantic relationship was over for good.

Giannulli “has moved on from Jacob Elordi and is ready for a new chapter,” the insider said, explaining that Elordi’s busy career played a role in their split. “Jacob is very focused on work and gets intense when he’s on a project. It was difficult for Olivia to sustain a relationship with him.”

Jenner, meanwhile, has purposely remained single for the last year. In January, she told Owen Thiele on In Your Dreams that she hasn’t been actively dating.

“I'm actually super in a me era right now,” she began. “And I know that might sound corny and like not what you wanted to hear or what anyone wanted to hear. [But] when I turned 29, I had like a crash out about turning 30. I was like, ‘Whoa, my twenties are over. I have one more year.’ And for some reason, I crashed out harder at 29 about turning 30 than I did when I actually turned 30.”

She made a commitment to herself then, she explained: “When I turned 29, I remember saying to myself, I do feel like I’ve been in—and there’s nothing wrong with it. I’ve had great relationships; I’ve had not so great relationships—but I felt like through my twenties, I was in a lot. I was in a few long-term, consistent relationships, like kind of nearly, not right after the other, but like near each other. So I never really had my twenties to myself. I’m speaking on independence.”

She added, “So when I turned 29, I really made like a minor commitment to myself, where I was like, ‘I’m not going to reject anything…I’m going to stay open to anything that feels like it would suit me.’ But I really wanted to have like a me year where I chose myself. And again, not to say that didn’t mean that people came into my life or didn’t come into my life. It wasn’t really about that. It was just about being like, ‘I want to have fun. I want to choose myself and I want to do what I want to do.’”

“And I’m a really great girlfriend,” she continued. “I really love to be present for my partner, and I really put them first most of the time. So I think when I turned 29, I was like, ‘I really want to put myself first right now.’ And so that's where I’m at.”
