Anthony Ramos has a cheeky admission about his time filming *The Beauty* with Ashton Kutcher while he was "butt-ass naked."

The new FX sci-fi thriller series, which is based on Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley's graphic novels of the same name, centers on a billionaire-backed "fountain of youth drug" that, when taken, leads to a full-body transformation into the recipient's younger, most beautiful self. This graphic transformation involves the person emerging completely naked from a fleshy cocoon.

Ramos plays a mysterious assassin named Antonio, who has been hired by Kutcher's billionaire character, Byron Forst, to be his personal hitman. In a recent episode, Antonio's backstory is explored, including his own transformation, which for Ramos meant doing a scene in the buff in front of Kutcher.

The *Twisters* star named the scene as one of the most memorable during his time on *The Beauty*. "Ashton's studying me and I was butt-ass naked," he told PEOPLE recently. "It was a crazy scene."

But being in the nude wasn't the most difficult part of the scene for Ramos, whose character wears a metal eye patch. "I have to put the patch on my eye, but I had to squinch my cheek a little bit to make sure that it stayed on," he said of his struggles. "So, I've got this weird face where it's like I have this intensity on my face but it's really just because I'm trying to squinch my cheek enough where I can keep the eye patch on my eye." **

Speaking of the accessory, the *Hamilton* alum also detailed how the patch went through several designs before they finally settled on the gleaming one he dons in the series. "It was fun choosing it. We tried different variations and things in the camera test," Ramos said. "There was one eye patch where I completely couldn't see anything out of my eye. I was like, 'Nah, let's not do that.'"

Ramos also told PEOPLE he relished the opportunity to work with Jeremy Pope, who plays an early recipient of the drug whom the assassin takes under his wing. "It was really great, man," the actor said of Pope, whom he's known for 15 years. "I mean, I had days at work where it didn't even feel like work. It was like, 'I can't believe we're here right now and laughing for 10, 11, 12 straight hours.' It was truly some of the most fun I've ever had on any job."

New episodes of *The Beauty* air Wednesdays on FX. The finale arrives March 4.**
